Our wingbacks are the secret sauce. We basically have 5 legit scoring threats in the final third all of which who are great on the ball.

RLC had the ball on a string in the box.

Did we finally find a role for Ziyech to be productive? He looks great in these more central pivot role.

The quality from James and Chilly is world class. Their ability to be so focal in the attack and their relentless press just gives the opposition fits.

Yeah Ziyech has been good in the center playing that Kovacic role.

And Alonso looked great as Chilwell was getting back into form. And even Emerson is a legit LWB after his performance in the Euros…and he can’t sniff the field.

Ziyech doesn’t really look injured here…

I was thinking the same. He's grabbing his ankle but I don't see where he may have twisted it.

Geez. we are dropping like flys. His knee did jam into the ground there.

Good dub to get back atop the group. Ziyech covered more distance than anyone on the pitch tonight. If he can improve his weak foot, wow his effectiveness would be incredible. Because he occupied so much space, it lead to CP almost acting at a true striker and that’s just not his game. Quite night for him but no injuries! As a side note, Reece is quickly becoming my favorite Blue.

Blues are deep but that depth will be tested as Kante, Chilly and Silva were banged up.

No replacement for Kante but we have Christenson and Alonso waiting in the wings. Can argue that there is only a minimal drop with those two. Kova has played well and RLC emerging gives us some Kante depth...albeit he's like a cheat code playing with an extra man when he's on the field.

You wonder if this is a trap game tomorrow. On one hand, ManU is reeling and coming off the sacking of a beloved former player. On the other hand, will their tactics change now and catch Chelsea off guard? I would’ve preferred playing an Ole coached team. And we are missing many important pieces. It’s concerning although Blues are playing very well currently.

The drop off on defense and their passing abilities will be minimal compared to Chilly, but the runs Chilly had been making behind back lines has been world class.
