He will be more than good enough for at least this next season. He’s probably my favorite PSG player ever, plays the game the right way.

With Roman throwing mad cash around, has there been any talk of Chelsea going after Upamecano? I think if Chelsea were able to grab him they’d have the final piece in a squad that could dominate for the next decade.

Blues have set Kante’s price at 80MM. Love him but he can’t stay healthy and it looks at though Frank wants to load this club with youth. A sale will offset all the spending being done currently with Rice and a keeper still in need.

there was the usual tabloid links up until he signed the new deal with RB.
He has a very reasonable release clause that kicks in next summer, and since RB dont really NEED to sell, hard to see a deal happening at reasonable price currently. never know with this window tho.

Yeah I think the Kai Havertz availability has a lot to do with this. Too good to pass up. CB is still a top priority for next summer though. In the meantime we may still add Rice who is another option at the back, but only if we keep Kante. If Kante goes, rice would be his direct replacement. I’d feel a lot better if we can sign rice now, and keep Kante for one more run.

What about keeper? I can’t see going into the season with Kepa and Willy. There hasn’t been much noise about this lately.
