thought Willian played well. coulda been better, but he was all over the pitch most of the game.
very ready to have RLC back so Barkley never plays again.

Putting 3 strikers on the bench is useless. Almost needlessly rubbing it in Pulisics face to keep him off even the roster at all. But until Chelsea actually start losing some games he’s not going to get the nod, he must be horrendous in training. I don’t understand.

I don’t think he’s miles below the 4 in front of him, but they all have certain edges in their game over him. But I do think fat Frank is being especially harsh leaving him out of the squad completely, and surely there were some solid moments he could’ve at least come off the bench in the matches he was completely unused. I don’t know, maybe he puts in the same kind of effort at practice that he does when playing defense.
Oh, and theres a 98% chance he completely whiffs on the ball that Willian scored from CHO. He doesn’t have that skill.

One of the reasons Chelsea paid so much for Pulisic is his ability to increase US viewership and marketing possibilties in the States. I also think he is a very talented player and has the chance to become one of the best all time US players.
If they don't play him and/or loan him out, very little of this new US good will to Chelsea happens. I won't be watching any Chelsea games without him. I am sure that I am not alone.
Pulisic is the unfortunate casualty of a brand new, young manager who feels more comfortable with veteran and other players. Sad. Hope things change, and Lampard gives him more than a few games to acclimate and prove himself.

Good riddance. If he can’t make some stuff happen against small teams they aren’t gonna trust him in big games. I definitely think frank has some skin in the England national team game. I’m sure he wants them to thrive and maybe he hasn’t given Pulisic as much opportunity as others, but he also hasn’t wowed me. Not even a quarter of the way through the season and being in 4 competitions, they won’t win everything, and people above him will start questioning his motives if willian or Pedro start slacking and he keeps snubbing Pulisic
