Bailly was reportedly around £30 million, so Sane ain't a bad deal at all to me.

Stones, on the other hand...

Yeah. Didn't see a ton of him last season but I tried to watch the bund whenever it was on. He stood out big time. I'm pumped.

TalkSport saying Stones headed to City for £53 mil. Someone kill me.

This pleases me

FWIW I'll defend Stones here. He sucked at the beginning of last year with all of the transfer rumors and clearly wanted out. His head just wasn't in the right place. Despite that, he still improved as the year went on. My biggest concern is how lost he seemed to be when not playing alongside a veteran defender like Jagielka.

He still has tons of potential, but if he wants out and City wants to fork up £53 mil I'll be more than happy to see him go.

Kevin Gameiro close to signing with Atletico

He is perfect for them. AtM is bent on that CL (obviously, La Liga as well, but I know Cerezo wants to get over this ´hump´). I know you´re thinking third time (in recent times) is the charm.

I´m also seeing that RM is pressing to pull the Uruguayan kid from AtM.

I mean when he is on, he's better than Sterling but he has had long stretches of really bad form. That might be cause of age but when you drop that much on a player they need to be the finished product like the Sterling situation. I wonder if it's £40 plus after add ons or straight up money all at once.

Your good Sané comparison is "better than Sterling?" That's it? Eek. Run away.

That's a ton of money for Stones, you can make a hella lot of improvements to your team with 53 Mil plus the money that's already available to Koeman

They are being bought for similar money so that's why I use Sterling as a comparison.

Schalke has lately been a bad environment for young players. See: Draxler, Julian.

Looks like Skrtel to Fenerbache official for £5.

And Sergi Canos to Norwich for £2.5m. Rumor is we included sell on and buy back clauses thankfully.

Not a bad turn around on their investment when they bought him.

Lots of rumblings that Klopp just didn't rate him.

Klopp has mentioned a few times, due to no European football, we really needed to trim the squad..

I think it's more of a need for him to go somewhere he can get playing time and improve.. I don't think he'd have as much opportunity here.. His progress did seem to stall out last season..

He does have promise and ability, that's why we included a buy back clause..
