Chelsea won the court battle between Fiorentina and Roma concerning Salah.

Salah is still a Chelsea player and Conte could choose to keep him if he would like. I wouldn't mind him sticking around after the season he had in Serie A. I have always been a fan of him.

Stones is pretty much buying him to keep the home grown numbers decent even though the English players won't really see the field.

But 40 million + pounds for Sane wtfffff

53 million for Stones

Almost a 100 million on two unproven and inconsistent kids.

But what ever. By the time either is developed Pep will be gone or they will be sold b/c they flopped.

I don't think that's exactly the case.

The court battle was between Chelsea and Fiorentina.

Fiorentina was challenging Chelsea's right to sell Salah to Roma since it involved Salah breaking an agreement for a 2 year loan to Fiorentina.

The deal Roma - Chelsea made was a season loan plus an option for AS Roma to buy Salah outright at a set price--which actually kicked in automatically due to Salah's appearances for Roma.

So, Roma have already activated the buyout clause (according the official AS Roma stockholder's report) but the official paperwork couldn't be filed until the court case was closed.
