Imagine being the team who is paying their coach 15million, after his last team sort of quit on him, and he couldn't muster more than a 10th-12 placing while at the helm and was sacked.
While they passed on a coach who doesn't have the purse strings and his teams beat the best in the world.
and it's really funny, because the fans of that club, made fun of Jose and his old team while they floundered on the pitch, and now he's their coach and suddenly he's the 2nd coming of Jesus(not Heyzus, Geejus).

He made the shot that he needed to for the win in the shootout.
Did he play the perfect game? Nope, did he do enough to get the win? Yep
Point is, a bunch of haters always come NB out of the woodwork whenever he doesn't perform perfectly.
The fact is that real wouldn't be be half the team they are without him.
He has only set the goals record for the champions league so I tend to give the guy a small break wheneverhe doenst perform to the all world standards of jackwood
