I enjoyed the nostalgia of him and Vertonghen in the back.

Good news is we should be well rested for the NLD because nobody did a damn thing today.

Lol what an embarrassment. Harry Winks starting over Ndombele. We deserve to lose all our remaining matches.

PL admits 3 VAR decisions were incorrect yesterday

Who would have thought tackling a guy in the box is penalty? We didn’t deserve anything from the game but an early goal may have been a catalyst to them actually giving a shite

Agreed.

Also, Kyle Martino’s half-time vertonghen explanation, as to why VAR was correct in not giving foul, was dumb as frick and I wanted to fight him.

Lol same, I love Kyle martino but could not believe that was his take on what happened. I remember Rebecca Lowe’s reaction being like

But I might have made that up since it was such a dumb argument

Stole this from reddit but it’s so true. Here’s to them actually pretending they want to be there today

Winks starting again, I don’t understand. Im hoping for the best but I feel this ends up 3-0 not in our favor. Sorry for the bad vibes.

What is it with Winks? He’s been able to convince 2 managers that he is an integral part of the lineup. He probably has logged more minutes this year than all but 2 or 3 of our players. I just don’t get it. He brings nothing to the offense or defense. He is not a threat to do anything at any time. When he gets the ball he immediately tracks back and starts looking to dump it to a CB. On defense he is always 5 yards back anticipating a shot or pass he isn’t gonna block.

Makes no sense to me.

I'm going to disagree with you on Winks. Thought he had a great match today. Broke up a lot of passes and was able to put his foot on the ball and take a breath.

He shouldn't start every match, but agaisnt good teams, he has a great calming presence in chaotic midfield. He shouldn't play against low block teams in my opinion.
Sissoko, on the other hand while ultra-industrious, the poor guy offers nothing going forward.

Alderweireld had a hell of a match today.

The midfield and defense look good. The problem is the final third. It's like somebody throws on a handbrake when the ball reaches it.

Also, this team is good when they get the first goal. Matches against low-block teams will suck royally.

Much better overall performance. Should’ve taken a few more of the chances we had, but it’s 2-1 to Tottenham over the fricking cünts. I’ll take that shite all day.

Think we could have had 1 or 2 more today had we not been so selfish, Kane and Sonny both had layoffs after we scored the 2nd goal. This team is so hard to figure out from week to week.

Just gonna celebrate the win and hope for some luck in the last 3 games. #finishaboveArs

Agree about Winks, he was key today. But I don’t want him anywhere near the field when we play a lower tier team that sits back.

Watching MOTD we should have had at least one more goal. Son and Kane both had chances to end it with a better touch or making a smart pass. Doesn’t matter now but would have been nice to unclench a little earlier

I needed that derby win more than I care to admit. Effort was there the entire match. We played with more urgency and looked more decisive moving the ball forward.

I agree that we should have added at least 1 at the end. Kane looked like he was pressing for a goal and had a easy square ball to Bergwijn at the end. Can't blame him though, I want my #9 to be selfish.

COYS!
