Huge 3 points. Would have been a waste of all those friendly results this week.

We're obviously dealing with a bunch of injuries, but we really need to improve the squad depth this summer. This game was a perfect example of why we need to get Poch a few attacking players with creativity or pace that can take guys on 1v1. I thought Rose created the most chances going forward today and think he is starting to find his old form again. Trippier got the ball plenty on the right, but he doesn't have the ability to take guys on or turn the corner on anyone. Poch had 0 options available to throw something new at Brighton. That was evident by bringing on Jansen and Davies in a game that we desperately needed a goal.

That being said, I'm pumped to get the 3 points and loving the clean sheets at the new stadium.

I’m still pumped about this win, I shouldn’t be this pumped beating Brighton, but I don’t really care.

Agree with summer signings , we need some.

If the entire team came back, at the very least you would need to bring in 2 quality center mids that can give you 30 games each. Ideally one of those is a top 20 at his position.

But with the smoke around Ericksen and Toby leaving then I think you are potentially looking at huge revamp in the middle.

If all things stayed the same, this is the priority I would put things at in order:

1. Holding Center Mid. Legit top 15 player at position.
2. Backup Center Mid. Someone that can play 25 games and be better than wanyama
3. Better RB. Trippier isn’t good enough and needs to move on and so does Aurier
4. Backup striker.

Obviously if ericksen or Toby leave then you have to replace them.

Tanguy Ndombele I have a feeling we are going to be a season late on adding this guy. Big names clubs like PSG, Juve, & City linked. MIght have to target someone like Kessie, but he is far from top 15.

Jack Grealish, Youri Tielmans, or Andre Gomes

Wan-Bissaka

4. Backup striker.

This is the hard one because anyone with quality likely doesn't want to sit behind Kane.

I agree with all of your points.
I think Harry Winks has the ability to be really good holding mid that dictates the pace of the game.

However, he's not going to break many lines going forward. Which is something Spurs have missed since Dembele left.

Some Top 4 math.
*Assuming Spurs keep a positive GD*

If:
-Arsenal & Chelsea win out.
Need to win 2 out of 3

-Arsenal & United win out.
Need to win 1 out of 3

-Arsenal win out & Chelsea/United draw.
Need to win 1 and draw 1

-Chelsea win out & Arsenal lose a game.
Need 2 points from 3 games.

-Chelsea win out & Arsenal draw a game.
Need to win 1 game.

Just catching up on the UCL, but holy shitballs that MCFC vs Spurs match was fricking crazy. Was pulling for City, though I'm not a fan of either.

Congrats to Spurs.

Please please please Sissoko be back for Ajax.

But yeah I really wish we weren’t
