Any update on Naby? read where he had a 2nd test come back negative and would be re-tested on Merseyside...

Harry Wilson going to Swansea on loan... £1.2mm fee and they cover his wages.

Herbie Kane has moved to Barnsley for £1.5 million on a 4 year deal. Club have also negotiated a 15% sell on clause

Ben Woodburn to Blackpool on loan.

Klopp also said all players came back from international duty healthy... I'm assuming that means Naby, too..

@JamesPearceLFC

Harvey Elliott has agreed to join Blackburn Rovers on loan. Will be great experience for the #LFC teenager.

@JamesPearceLFC

#LFC hadn't initially intended to loan Elliott out but early exit from the League Cup - coupled with Shaqiri staying put - led to a change of heart.

Good moves with the loans I think.

Hopefully Shaq stays healthy and will feature more, so makes sense to move some of the youngsters to get a little more polished.

Edit: Hopefully Matip is good to go and can stay that way. We need him back.

We've looked so much better today.. notwithstanding, Timmy Chocolate Wrists in goal... and that absolute count, Pickford, taking out VVD...

Hendo has been great!

edit - yes, I know thats harsh on Adrian

My main complaint from our overall play this half, is we cant seem to get it past the first man on our corners...

and Sadio should have buried that chance..

The picture of Virgil being offside is worse. The line is at his elbow.

Not sure if I just made this up, but wasn’t there something about there having to be “clear” evidence to overturn the offsides call or no call?

Honestly if offside and the handball rule continue to be this laughable I don't know how much longer football can go on like this.

Rings a bell but we might be mixing that up with CFB. Damn sure was nothing clear and obvious about that.

yeah, a clear and obvious error... the irony is, that applies to the VVD missed pen/red card..

That’s what I gather from the ex pats I know and podcasts I listen to. Soccer is a much more organic and fluid game than American football. The targeting rule has ruined a lot of the spirit of American football, but the game is naturally stop and go, and we’re used to reviews and discussions about penalties. It’s very different with soccer. This destroys the spirit and flow of the game and even the English are getting sick of it.

I might be in the minority, but I thought that was the worst (no) call in the game. Even worse than the Hendo winner/Mane offside. Virgil’s fricking elbow is where they draw the line and then the hacking of his knee. What’s to stop you from telling your players to just go studs up into anyone around the ball if the player is offside. It’s a fricking criminal no-call.

I agree... Ive seen it confirmed that the VAR ref, David Coote, didnt check for the red card.. only offside..

he was dropped last season, for his VAR error in the Chelsea/Tottenham match..
