This is such a bad take. We didn’t drop any points to a team outside the Top 6 until this week.
Side note: I never realized how important TAA and Gomez were to our set up.

Have you watched the games this year?
We've looked like shite all year attacking against just about everyone besides Man U, City and Arsenal. Might not have actually dropped points but it has not been good.

I think Ox-Gini-Fab could be our best MF. I sure hope Ox can pick this up in a hurry but he’s been out awhile.

We have always been slow to get back into the swing of things after the extended break in January, at least this year we aren't losing games, just scraping by with a point.
I don't understand the surprise that our being down two defensive starters has led to more goals scored against us. I'm more concerned at the lack of goals. Firmino has been great at times, and he's been absolutely putrid at others. Salah has shown a propensity to either score a worldie or disappear completely, and Mane, though he's scored recently, has been exceptionally wasteful, even by his standards.
If the attack picks up, which it fricking must, we're golden. Just have to weather this until Trent is back, we add Gomez and Ox in March, then we start murdering folks again.
That said, City will go top tomorrow, likely beat Everton 5-0, and we need to prepare for the onslaught of "Liverpool bottled it" bullshite. Robbo said it best, no one called City bottlers for losing to the likes of Newcastle and Crystal Palace - we have one loss, there's 13 games left. We're good. We're good...

And 5 draws.
Which has cost us the title 2 other times in the last 10 years.
Always has been the bane of our season.

City last year had 4 draws so it's not like that number is insanely high... And remember city score a record number of points last year...

Nope, haven’t watched any. How many not top 6 matches have we scored 1 or less?
It’s been obvious to those who do watch that the approach has changed from last year.
The take is still bad.

Yeah, those not top 6 matches (outside of the last two) have felt 100% different, sure they may be scrappy at times, but it never feels like the team isn't in control

The more I think about yesterday’s match, Keita was the only one creating anything in the 2nd half.
Now if he can stop turning it over in precarious positions, he might get more minutes in the two man midfield.

That we we're extremely sloppy and wasteful against lower table teams?
How many games have we snuck points winning 1-0?
The attack has been sloppy and toothless A LOT. Don't get how that is a bad take. City generally pick people apart, we simply have not this year.

Snuck points? Very few... Most of those games were dominant performances

Since I knew you were too lazy to support your emotions with facts
Here are the facts: six times this season we’ve scored only one goal against teams outside the top 6. For comparison, City have down it three times. Now move along. Your take about our inability to defeat non top 6 opponents is not support by facts.

It’s February and we are 3 points clear at the top of the table. We have had an influx of injuries but we have not all of a sudden become Fulham. I think missing out on Fekir also hurt as Klopp targeted him very early. We really have not replaced Cou as to a player who can help truly create behind out front three. Losing Gomez has REALLY hurt.

Yeah we need Gomez back ASAP... But honestly won't be mad to have Lovren back in there... Matip did not look good yesterday imo

I’m just really trying to not panic in February
Posted on 2/5/19 at 10:09 pm to JackVincennes
When is the last time Liverpool lost 1 or fewer matches in a season?
Posted on 2/6/19 at 5:49 am to Tigerfan7218
I didn’t find Matip played horribly. I’d have to rewatch, only remember one crucial mistake when he went too far upfield then lost possession and couldn’t get back. Otherwise, he was serviceable.

No reason to panic. We're off to one of the best starts in the history of the premier league, we're 3 points clear at the top, and in the next month we should get three critical young, english talents back in the side.
City should fear us, not vice versa. You pussies need to get a grip.

We've done it 2x as many times 60% through the season. How does that not support what I'm saying?
The team has not looked good the last two games and certainly didn't to start the season.
Not really sure I understand your beef on this. We're not trending well and continue to squander every opportunity to further clear ourselves at the top of the table.

Who is panicking? Everyone is just saying we've looked like shite lately and need to stop squandering opportunities.
Injuries be damned we should be able to beat fricking Leicester at home and West Ham when a title is on the line.
