Yeah, it's such a good three... Shaquiri off the bench gives us the bite we were sorely missing off the bench a year ago.

Also, this post game show talking about how a generation of fans have never seen the true United sounds sooooo familiar

there was a good article (ill try to find it), where it compares our fall in the 90s to the current one for United..

It basically said that we failed to evolve and adopt the commercial aspect of the game.. stuck in the old ways.. we got left behind..

United have failed to evolve past the Sir Alex era, where he did everything... no DoF.. no real plan in place for recruitment, etc..

Now, they are way too wealthy to have this last as long as ours.. but it was a good read..

Yeah, if you find it, post it... I'd love to read that...

I'll say, regardless of how this season ends, I don't think I've ever felt this good about the direction of the club since I started watching

Yeah, he looked good, obviously was exhausted by the end, but once he gets match fit he'll be just fine

Love Gini but good lord he is so poor in the final 3rd.

Don't get how you can be a top level footballer and have such a poor, weak shot on goal.

Clyne had a solid game and so did Lovren.

Yeah, he could have been extremely dangerous today if he cleans up those touches around the box

Haven’t seen anyone say it yet, but two absolute SHIFTS put in today by Bobby and Robbo.

Bobby left it all out there with his pressing in the midfield. He was visibly tired and heavy-legged in the last 15 mins of match time.

Robbo

Game saving back post header to deny fellaini of a sitter and a terror going forward. IMHO he’s the best left back in the PL

Agreed... What an incredible find he was.

For all the talk our big spending on the likes of VVD and Alisson, we've done some great business for some amazing players at pretty insane prices (Robbo, Shaqiri, Salah, Gomez)

How much did we spend on Bobby? Pretty sure he was a Rogers signing (correct me if my shite memory fails here), and don’t remember being floored at how much we spent to get him.

He was close to 30M I believe so yeah he was about the same as Salah basically, and Mane was about the same.. I mean Robbo was what 8M, Gomez was 3.5M, Shaq was only like 13M

FYI
quote:

Liverpool’s 36 goal attempts is the most by any team in a PL game this season (previous best, 32 by Man City v Huddersfield)

:fap:

ETA: record is 38 attempts. Set by ManU vs Burnley in 2016...a match that ended 0-0

I think the most amazing part is that was also probably one of his more underwhelming performances this year, and he still had that kind of impact. He’s got left back on lock for the foreseeable future

So... LOTS of articles/smoke out there about Pulisic. Some saying it is to us, some saying it is Chelsea who will land him.

Even saw one that said we miss on Dembele but land Pulisic and the deal is already agreed.

One thing seems true at least: Pulisic is PL-bound.
