The Fab Four

Throw in Hendo and Can behind them, and we're cooking with fire. Once Lallana comes back healthy...and VVD in January...IT'S STILL REAL TO ME!

My question is where does Lallana fit back into the side? Does he unseat any of the other mids or play as a super sub mostly?

Personal opinion, I'd like to see a Gini-Cou-Lallana setup where all three can roam somewhat freely.

I only want to see that if we land VVD...

I think he just goes into the rotation... Sub at first and see if he can play his way into the starting 11.. Also, depends on how the others are playing..

It would be fun in attack, but leave us so exposed at the back... wouldn't matter if we had a brick wall back there...

Serious question - that will be different than how we are now in what way?

I know, it would leave us even MORE exposed

I would actually like to see it - maybe on a last 30 minute basis - against one of these teams that is playing low and we're having trouble scoring against. A more physical midfield is bypassed anyway in a lot of those games. And perhaps by playing Cou- Lallana higher up, Gini (or Hendo or Can) can be more disciplined behind them.

I have a good feeling about today TF, I think you get that pick me up. I had some shite results at work recently while spending way too much time away from the family. It always gets better brother.

I hope you're right (on both the match and things getting better)... This little funk I'm in right now is brutal, but seeing the boys in red play (and win hopefully) may give me a little spark.

So Jurgen (because he totally reads this board right?? ) go win it for me

I’m fine in my personal life but, I swear, between Gus Malzahn football and Chuck Person basketball at Auburn, I could use a Liverpool win and a Klopp bearhug right about now.

Hey, I'm at least happy on the basketball front now (I mean I'm aware Will Wade hasn't coached a game, but man he's doing work so far).

Oh, and who couldn't use a Klopp bearhug?

Yeah and I'm sure they've been working on Cou in the midfield with those 3 in front of him.

On the road when they shouldn't be packing it in on defense, I like it. There's a gamble there, but I like it.

4-2 Reds will win! Calling it now.

Watching the pre-game, do they sell the team warm-up tops anywhere? The black ones with the orange logo are pretty nice
