Yeah, I don't think Henderson is good at all, but I feel like that would've been a better option than playing a young RB out of position at Stamford Bridge. Must've been the minutes thing.

I have to say that I am getting that old Liverpool feeling gents. We should have had this thing wrapped up and could have been playing youngsters right now. If we get 3 next week this thing is over correct?

If we get 3, yes, Liverpool would then be guaranteed Top 4.
If we get 1, then Chelsea *must* win their final two matches, at Stamford Bridge against Huddersfield (who, luckily, is still fighting relegation) and away at St. James Park against Rafa and Newcastle. Anything less than two wins for Chelsea in this situation keeps them behind Liverpool.
If we get 0, then Chelsea can pass us with a win and a draw in their final two matches.
And Tottenham's final two matches are both at Wembley against Newcastle and Leicester.
Newcastle, safely ensconced mid-table, is an end-of-season power player.

Looks, if we don't close this out, we'll have no one to blame but ourselves. Relatively tame run to end the season and our results have been @#$@#.
Part of that is the depth and CL focus, but part of that has just been @#$# luck. Girouds goal is a harmless cross except for the deflection.
We should be able to close out 3 point at home next week. Full week of rest - no game coming after it for weeks, etc. However, there is pressure on us due to needing the result so it could get interesting/butt clenching if its getting late and we're not up.
More worringly, we really haven't played well, outside of the first Roma game, in 3 weeks. Hard to turn that on and off. Hopefully just tired.

It would be nice if Chelsea and Tottenham just lose their midweek games. We deserve that.

Deserve has everything to do with it!

Here is a very long but great read. Seems a few people in the thread are down after the last three matches; hopefully this helps.

I just took a quick glance at the title and will read. Understand, I believe that this year has been nothing short of a Klopp miracle. When you throw in the ridiculous injuries it's flat out amazing. This is why I believe we are a year away because next year I think we will be much better suited on our bench to fight on multiple fronts. Although the level of injuries to our midfield would be tough to overcome in any year but just think the midfield performing right now to Kiev will not be in the XI next year. Along with a new CB and possibly a GK. This is just the start of Klopp's master plan and we might mess around and win the whole damn thing!!! I just get upset when I see a season like this still have the possibility (no matter how slight) of being 2nd best in Europe with Europa League football next year.

There is a lot in the article about the injuries to the midfield, average age of champions league finalists, average cost of starting XI, the effect of EPL, and more.

Long but great article.

So the smoke around Fekir keeps going. An agreement may not be quite done yet and may also be contingent on CL but damn this has to be more than a BS rumor at this point

Today lads, we are all Terriers!

can't forget about the Magpies!

Today's scenarios:
Chelsea win next 2, Liverpool clinch top 4 with win against Brighton.
Chelsea draw today and win next, Liverpool clinch top 4 with win or draw against Brighton.
Chelsea lose either, Liverpool clinch top 4 by virtue of goal differential win-lose-draw against Brighton (barring Brighton beating us by like 15).
Tottenham result is less impactful, but a draw/loss against Newcastle and subsequent win against Leicester means that if we win against Brighton we will place third and they'll be fourth, barring a massive shift in GD.
I think this is all right, it may all be completely wrong. Come on Huddersfield. I wonder if Klopp gave his buddy David Wagner any insights for today's game. A win today keeps them in the PL...

Trust in Rafa. If anyone can/will do it, would be him.

My blood pressure would be a whole better going forward if that thing would have bounced differently.
