Damn the Brits are thoroughly salted on social media.
So many posts about “losing to thugs” and “at least playing with class”.

53,512 was the announced attendance for today's match
let's see if tomorrow's match will draw just as well as today's

Man what am I doing in here, this thread is fricking miserable. English fans in a fit about flairs, American fans who never watched soccer outside of the world cup trying to troll, and neutrals only interested in talking about which player they want to frick the most.

What the frick are they talking about? They were by far the more aggressive team.

One thing that can be said is that this tournament is betting heaven
5/6 on the USA to win today was a license to print money
Feels like it’s been penalties galore the whole time aswell which is always a well paying bet

The Brits didn't have any class when they burned that church with the people in it in that Mel Gibson movie. Those thugs.

frick that shite

Wow, 5/6 is great odds.
I find MLS also has some really good betting opportunities because the oddsmakers are often clueless. You’ll see some pretty crazy odds sometimes. There was a game not long ago where they had Cincinnati vs. Philly at around even odds, which was easy money to bet on the Union to win.

I got USA to win the whole World Cup at +350
Also took Netherlands at +1100

I'd rather have Press start over Rapinoe even if both are healthy. Yea Rapinoe has scored 4 goals, but she really hasn't played good at all this tournament. She can't outrun anybody. No way Rapinoe would have pressed the keeper like Press did today.
frick Rapinoe. I hate her, but Press is better at every category besides virtue signaling. I know she scored two goals last game, but one was a PK and the other was absolutely lucky.

First Alexi Lalas' answer to the Rapinoe question, then Julie Foudy's answer on SportsCenter.
Nagandi: How much does the U.S. need Rapinoe on Sunday?
Foudy: Well her replacement Kristen Press played magnificently and the team had an excellent performance today...(basically staying the hell away from the actual question but not outright stating that they need her)
Looks like the actual soccer commentators are tired of her shite too.

Just an FYI, note I didn’t mention men that are professional soccer players.
I’m talking about average fricks like me and everyone else

I missed the last 20 minutes due to a meeting, but I watched the PK save on replay...and Naher's reaction was perfect when her teammates mobbed her:
"Get OFF me! Move!"
"Get OFF me! Move!"

It really has nothing to do with her off the field stuff. Press is simply just as good (if not better) in their current forms, meaning the US doesn’t NEED Rapinoe.

The Brits were very physical today. I was hoping they would pull off Morgan's shorts but at last they could not succeed.
