Grant Wahl linked this from his twitter
Chandler in for Russia
As much as we've been upset with his decisions, the guy's only 22. If he finally comes aboard, we'd have him for a long time

I just don't know what to think with this guy

He's probably keeping his options open for the Hex. He has more flexibility now that he's showed at least some willingness to play for us

The qualifiers would cap tie him right?

Yes. It's amazing to me that Jurgy is going to call him in after he pissed all over us earlier. But Jozy is the one with attitude problems. What a joke.

If he is cap tied and plays well for us, all will be forgiven. At least that's what I tell myself.

Did Chandler call JK incompetent on Twitter?
Not being sure whether you want to commit to the USA over the possibility of playing for Germany is not an attitude problem. I would love it if he were USA all the way, but I'll take it if he chooses us after being unsure for awhile.

I reacted like most on here and was very angry at this kid for all of this earlier, but I guess we have to just accept that he probably sees himself as German first and foremost, and his dream was to play for his country. Maybe now he has realized that that option will probably never present itself, and his desire to play meaningful international competition is driving him now. If he commits to the US and plays his arse off from here on out, he is good in my book.

Well said.
He was born in German and lived there all his life. I'm willing to cut him a little slack.

Agree 100%
I can understand him holding out for a Germany call up, and I will forget about everything in this past year if we eventually see him in the Hex.

Exactly how I feel.
