I've never bought a US shirt customized. However, is it acceptable for a guy to get one with one of the girls' name/number?

I guess...but if you are shelling out the dough why not get a bradley or dempsey?

I personally would go for Dempsey or Bradley, but I just wanted to know if the men of SB would consider someone like Morgan or Wambach if they were spending the money.

If I was going to personalize a USMNT jersey with a name that wasn't a player on the team, I would go with something like former presidents.

A few examples:
Washington - 01
Jackson - 07
Polk - 11
Lincoln - 16
Eisenhower - 34
Reagan - 40
G.H.W. Bush - 41

I don't think it's a big deal to get somebody like Morgan

If I were to get a woman's name. I'd go with a legend. Someone who is like the MJ of soccer. Morgan is too new. Wambach would be solid.

However, I wouldn't have a woman's name.

Idk. Risky move in my book. I mean would you get a wnba jersey with Holdsclaw on the back or wear a Jenny Finch baseball jersey? Besides, too many good men's players to put on the back to warrant a USWNT name on the back. Of course everything is subjective and you should do exactly what you want.

I think it's a valid question now that they have the same jerseys.

I wouldn't do it and would give someone a weird look if I saw it during a mens game.

It's funny that a bunch of guys who are flaming homosexuals on the board aren't secure enough to wear a womans name on a jersey

I wouldn't personally do it, but it's ultimately up to you.

Just don't get a Rapinoe jersey.
