About England’s prevent play? Yeah, it was absolutely egregious. The whole world watched in shock as England allowed Argentina to have control of the ball and just unload on the English goal the entire second half.

England played like they didn't have the talent to control the ball and burn some clock with at least some light attacking possession. In reality, they had Argentina on the ropes and probably could have put them away at 2-0 if they continued attacking. I don't know a lot about the game, but Argentina and France are two teams I wouldn't have employed the "park the bus" tactic against. Just way too many good looks are gonna develop with the way those teams control the ball.
