But this is actual letters and emails, not just an FBI investigation that was obviously going nowhere.

Clearly something came of it

If y'all haven't seen it try to find online that E60 with the report on all of the foreign workers in Qatar and how they're basically treated like indentured servents. Pretty sickening.

Speaking of Russia I do believe that the Olympic Stadium on Sochi will be used to host some games and likely won't see much use after that. The club there isn't even in the Premier League.

Most of the infrastructure in Sochi will have fallen apart in 4 years. The worst yet most expensive shite put together.

The only way I see Qatar getting stripped of the WC is if there is an outright revolt against the current FIFA administration. US Soccer and the FA need to team up to collect support for this IMO. FIFA is in Switzerland's jurisdiction, but I don't see them doing anything about it.

I know the leagues aren't happy about having the games in the winter. If they step up and say they aren't going to release their players maybe something can happen.

As good as this stuff is, the fact that its always English papers that bother to do these investigations is one of the reasons we wont get a WC

That's painting with a broad brush. The Guardian and The Times are well respected (ex: US Gov't surveillance).

Like most of their transfer content which is either syndicated or they willfully acknowledge is probably bullshite (like pretty much all other transfer content)?

They aren't making up interviews with Paul Pogba, or anything

I hate FIFA and the IOC, they are rotten bastards to the core. I can't not watch the World Cup but I will never attend or pay attention to the "Olympics". Manufactured BS. Synchronized Swimming? Really? Preying on young folks to make their money.

I think you guys misunderstood what I was saying.

What I meant was that, its only ever the English media who dig and find dirt on things such as FIFA. This then makes the people that matter in FIFA hate the English media -> Less chance of them wanting to give us nice things aka the World Cup as we cause them so much trouble when we call them up on their shite.
