I went last year and didn't really do much cool before the game because there was a ton of construction. We ate at that restaurant between the Inn at the Ballpark and BBVA and it was shitty. It was weird to be at a place where they didn't let us walk around with beer but we drank at that little tailgate they set up by the stadium.

There is a little Woodrow's and luckys pub right there. Also on the other side of bbva is a BBQ place. All pretty good IMO

I forgot the name of the place, it was a shitty tourist trap looking place. It was on the same side of the road as BBVA but closer to the hotel. Warm tap beer, shitty service, and bland food.

Sometimes we drive 2 hours to go to a bar and fall asleep 34 minutes into the game. Sorry for partying.
