The new Nashville SC crest is garbage

With Nashville being known as the “Music City” they really missed an opportunity not making the crest into the shape of a guitar pick.

That 2nd one is pretty much stealing the Predators' secondary logo.

It’s hard to believe that A) a team of professional graphic designers probably spent weeks making that and B) that logo made it past the initial sketching stage without being scrapped.
This logo is awful. Nothing about it says professional sports team, let alone professional soccer team. It looks like a road sign or bad gym logo. It somehow manages to be too busy and too minimalistic at the same time. Their current USL crest is nothing special, IMO, but it’s way better than this. Pretty much everyone I’ve seen on MLS Reddit hates this logo, Nashville fan or otherwise.
Hopefully in a few years, they can ditch this logo for something better like many other MLS teams have done. The Galaxy, Crew, and Earthquakes all had pretty crappy logos before upgrading to their current ones.

I don’t know about that. I was at the event last night, and it was very well received. The Roadies especially were cheering it on. But on the internet it’s met with the same derision that all new logos are met with. Because it’s the internet.
At the end of the day, our colors are gold and blue. We will wear gold, and our name is Nashville SC. As a ‘founder’ of NPSL team, that is all I could ask for. I’m glad we will now have a crest that doesn’t say Zashville. And I’m glad it’s not a fricking guitar pick.
Also, Ian Ayre is a cool dude. I just hope he makes better signings for us than he did at Liverpool!

Most of the recent new crests (and there are a lot of them in the US) have had a positive reaction from the internet. The Nashville one is just bad and has been rightfully criticized.

I don't hate it, but I do think it will change well within a decade for sure.
