Yes we do. Not names you’ve likely heard before, but we do have 2 or 3 I think.

Pellegrino Matarazzo is the only one I can think of.

Do we have any yanks coaching in the European leagues?
Pellegrino Matarazzo in bundesliga.
Mike Keeney in finlands 2nd Division
Enoch’s in 2 bundesliga
Bradley at Norway 1st division
Jim Cherneski 11 on the pyramid. Heck I’d do it
You have some in amateur leagues in Europe. and some in Asia and some assistant coaches in lower leagues in Europe
David Wagner was at Norwich in the Championship just last year. Wonder if he gets a shot this coming year somewhere

Thought it was 2nd division because when he took over midseason, he just barely missed an improbably promotion run. Did he get them promoted this season?

I’m just having a hard time believing that the USSF decided that Marsch was their guy, had him interview, then said nope. How often does that happen for any professional sports teams?

Apologies for confusion.
Stabæk play in the 1. divisjon.
Which is not the top league in Norway.
It’s is 2 on the pyramid in Norway. If you will
It is below the Eliteserien.
Thank you for that astute observation.

David Wagner (ex-Huddersfield Town when they were in tPrem) and there's one more, I believe, in Holland maybe.

Fabian Hurzeler is going to be coaching Brighton hove and Albion. Played a bit with our youth teams (born in the US but raised in Germany) but retired pretty young to focus on coaching.

I’m new to all of this, do the national team players get paid???
If so, what is the pay structure and where does money come from?

There is a disconnect between what can be realistically expected of Berhalter as USMNT head coach and what a large section of the fanbase demands of him that can be attributed to the unique landscape of US soccer.
Gatekeeping on soccer fandom is the thing that I dislike the most about the sport.

Yes, they get paid. Can’t remember the exact current structure but it’s not salary. They’re paid by the federation.

I know, not that long ago, the women for the longest time were salaried, with those in the NWSL getting paid directly by the USSF and not their club team.
But with the lawsuit and everything, I think that may have changed.
