Didn't happen in WC 98, or 00.
Didn't happen 4 years ago when nearly 200 fans got arrested during fights between Poland And Russia, or when stewards were attacked
Didn't happen in 2008 despite violence and racist chants and again 100s arrested after Germany vs Austria(I think was the game)
2018 is going to be another level, instead of Marseille youths you have Russian local gangs

So they have now banned alcohol in fan zones aswell as the sale of booze in some places
Also I was thinking it's interesting how everywhere there has been fighting (reports of Germany vs Ukraine today aswell) local gangs are involved

For their part, English fans aren't innocent in any of this. French riot police had to be called for English fans 2 days before England played a match. But Russian and French fans have been sh*t too.

That was the worst Russian team I've seen. England didn't do anything special defensively, other than dare the Russian CBs to complete a pass.
