Mhiki & Ozil played great
They are a very dangerous duo when playing well. Today they were just that. Great win against a hot team.

Needed that.
First time seeing Milan play this season, and damn we just have more skilled players and overall more team speed. Would be disappointing to not go through.

Xhaka finally turned in a good performance too.
I don't think so at all, he still gave the ball away and is just slow, he was the slowest guy on the pitch for Arsenal. Then that shot at the end from 40 yards out that had Wenger absolutely fuming, and rightfully so.

But the 4-3-3 suited him more. He was insulated from his bad decisions by the positioning of Ramsey.

I'm just hating on him, he has lapses in judgement. Like the holding the ball and getting in that tussel and staring the guy down when the ref is like no, look at me. he just stared at the other guy. Just play the damn game.
I thought James from Arseblog said it nicely, maybe xhaka should go play in the italian league, he seems to be able to cope with the slower pace.
Just looked up these stats, and it was like I thought, xhaka just didn't have to do much.

Biglia was a beast for Milan, winning 9/12 tackles in this match. Meanwhile, his midfield partner Kessie also won 5/6 tackles taking their total to 14/18 tackles in this match. Arsenal’s midfield duo of Xhaka and Ramsey won just 1 tackle. Total. One of two. Both attempted by Ramsey. In fact, Arsenal did so little tackling in this match that Xhaka, Ozil, Ramsey, and Wilshere all combined for just 1/2 tackling.

That 1st half was one of the best performances I've seen this season.
That said, leave it to Milan to put out such a shitty pitch yet again. Players were slipping left and right. Still can't forgive them for when Arsenal last visited and they purposefully mucked up the wings to slow down Walcott.

I can't believe that UEFA let that match be played. That and the RVP red card at Barca were some of the worst shite I've ever seen in terms of officiating.

Eh I don't know where Ramsey and Wilshere are and Iwobi is a permanent starter forever until he dies guess. I'm kind of excited to see the midfield today though, hopefully Xhaka can have a good day.

This game means nothing. No need to play or start Ramsey, Jack, or Kos. 3 matches in a week is too many for all of them because of their injury history.

Mustafi with the perfect header

To be honest Elneny has been superb today.

I love Elneny. Always does ok and plays hard. He's a good guy too. Super humble and funny.
AMN looks good again.
Solid half. No major breakdowns defensively.

I fricking can’t stand Iwobi. Every time they play the ball through him I have no hope. As a pels fan he reminds me of a young Aminu. On another note, great half by Cech.

Xhaka has been good, but I laughed when elneny left him off the tv screen while tracking back.
Some poor finishing by Watford though.
