Xhaka could be good as he was last year if he were coached.

I don’t rate him but a huge part of his issues are simple correctable mistakes someone should be on his arse about or he should be benched for.

Some reports are saying Ozil is close to signing an extension.

Why would he do that to himself?

reports breaking that...

Mesut Ozil has signed a new three-and-a-half year contract at Arsenal - worth around £350,000-a-week - he becomes the second highest paid player in the Premier League.

I adore Mesut but damn that's high wages. We had our backs against the wall after selling Alexis though. That said I'm happy Ozil is staying despite the cost.

My general mood about this season and the future under Wenger still sucks, but damn if we haven't finally started making some "big club" moves the past couple years. Very excited about Auba and maybe even more excited about the club loosening the purse strings to put a star player like Özil on those kinda wages and hold onto him.

Cat is outta the bag now, hopefully there's no going backwards from here.

Aubameyang confirmed for £56. Not bad at all.

Despite our woes on the field it seems off the field we have upped our game. I couldn't imagine this type of window in the summer much less January. As I said earlier I'm am excited to see what we do come the summer.

There are reports that we will be signing one more player as well today. Not gonna put too much faith in it but that would be nice. Maybe a CB or a midfielder?

Are we just going to try and outscore everybody? I mean, it's mostly working for Liverpool, but damn, our defense needs to be fixed.

Apparently he plays as a #6 this season. They say he's blossomed in the new role. Also his contract is up in the summer so he would be cheap. Based on price and potential it would be great business.

They are high wages for sure, but most of the time we look so much worse when he isn't on the field.

And with Santi's future in doubt, we needed to hold onto Mesut.

Here's to a new Arsenal

Figure out a way to bring in Evans at the deadline and I'll be doing the no pants dance for the rest of the day.

Özil signs a 3.5 year deal, Pierre fricking Aubameyang is officially an Arsenal player (something I'd never imagine saying two years ago), and Mkhi is here until 2021!!

Regardless of the losses and signings we didn't make but should've, this has been a damn good winter window.

Can't wait to see how we operate this summer

Good. I don’t want to sell the beautiful bastard to a direct rival in desperate need of striker depth. Send him to Germany or France FFS.
