How was the 1st half? I tuned in time for the halftime highlight show.

We played well in the open pitch, but Bourn is listless and just doesn't seem to care.

I've seen nothing to encourage me that we can come back from adversity against the big clubs.

There's really not much to nitpick. Utter domination.

Any stand outs? Nit picky, but how have the back 3 performed, any big gaps between midfield and back 3 when we give the ball away for a counter attack?

Got lucky we didn't give one up on one of Ramsey's patented turnovers around our penalty area.

Welbeck is playing for his job...and it is encouraging.

This could be just what we needed, gain some confidence, everyone having fun and enjoying themselves. Maybe get some of the attackers into a groove.

We need to remember this team played Man City 2-1. Man City destroyed 10 man Liverpool. Everything can change in a week.

We should have about 6-7 today. As good as we have played, AFC has been dreadful.

Yes, they really have. Lacazette is as good as advertised. I really hope I am wrong, but the Ox may have been the toxin in the club house. Karma is a what?

Last 10 mins been pretty sloppy with the passes. Not sure why taking Ramsey off unless it's fitness. Don't see the need to bring on a defensive mid, pretty sure we should be able to 'see out' this victory even without Coquelin.

Another note, our individual defending is complete shite. Quite a few times now we have a guy surrounded by 4 or more defenders and they just watch him, or individually just stab a leg in.

Hmmm these subs, taking off someone on a hat trick, and someone who you want to get hot in Laca. But these 2 subs I also don't mind getting action.

Wanted 4 goals so we could get back to even goal differential.

Coq getting hurt, not good.

Yes, right now we look like the Denver Nuggets of the 1980s.

Please let the day come soon when I've seen the last of Aaron Ramsey in an Arsenal kit.
I thought Ramsey had a great game.

He was good today. He does have moments when he's frustrating. He would be much better if we had any kind of structure and discipline.

Everything we did in the first half went through Ramsey. He was a menace between the lines and Ozil did well playing off him.

I thought having two actual fullbacks gave us better defensive cover too to allow Ramsey to push on. Saed is such an upgrade on Ox or a Bellerin on the left. Against bigger sides I think we will have to play Elneny or Coq next to Xhaka to give defensive stability but home to weaker sides it's fine to have him running forward.

From Arseblog

quote:

4 – Highest number of Premier League goals Danny Welbeck has scored for Arsenal in a season. He already has three this season! And two of them he’s scored off his shoulders – once he gets some shoulders installed on his feet, he’s going to be DEDLEE.
