re: The 26 players called in for WCQ
Every player on this roster is a grind-it-out, ugly-ass CONCACAF expert.

I have no illusions that these two matches will be anything but, and I'd guess Bruce feels the same way.

And my boycott continues.

Then let Josh Sargent come sit on the bench.

That would be dumb.

we've got Panama at home and then play a team that's already eliminated

I’m honestly more concerned with T&T. You see it all the time where a team with nothing to play for and no pressure comes out hot and pulls off an upset. And with our history of struggling against less skillful, more athletic teams (Jamaica / T&T), I can envision the disaster scenario after a win or draw v Panama where we don’t get the result we need and somehow end up in 5th. Granted, Honduras would have to massively overachieve v Mexico and CR. But stranger things have happened.

What is the status of John Brooks? He's injured now but he can come back onto the roster later, right?

What do you mean "later"? The only games remaining are Friday and Tuesday.

Ahhhh, I misread the title and was thinking this was for the World Cup itself. I thought it seemed kinda soon haha.

If Besler is healthy, he and Cameron need to be our CB pairing.

Not that far-fetched, if Mexico trots out a C- squad. Unlike us in 2014 when San Zusi saved their asses.

"That would be dumb."

Yep Sargent will likely be in the starting lineup of the first game of the U17 World Cup in India tomorrow.
