Is it possible that Bacon plays somewhere in the advanced 3 midfielders of the 4-2-3-1 at all?

I would love to see him play in the hole or on the left.

Good thing we had the game moved. Looks like things are about to get real in Ukraine.

I thought clubs had to release players if it's a FIFA International date.

They do but can ask that the player be removed from the roster. I guess Klinsman agreed to let him stay at Rosenborg after the club allowed him to play in January when they didn't have to.

I read this that Mix has a ticket to Brazil as well and Jurgen doesn't need to see anymore. Have to think if he was on the fringe that he would have kept him there.

Oh yeah Mix will be on the plane, barring injury.

Dutch football has been kind to the USMNT.

I see he and Kljestan playing for the same spot, and I've seen about a count hair's difference between the two in a US jersey.

If Jurgs is serious about "playing Champions League football", then the nod would go to Kljestan.

That'll be an interesting battle to watch this spring.

You and I must be watching different USMNT games, because Mix has been much more effective than Sacha in a US kit.

I would have to agree, although the difference hasn't been huge.

Sacha's low is "not bad", his peak is "pretty decent." Diskerud's peak is "pretty good", but his low is "ineffective/invisible".

Diskerud's last couple of performances were pretty underwhelming.

On the average, it's about the same.

So, do you bring a known quantity of "average" or equal chance of "really good" or "really bad?"
