Do the full time paid writers run on that? I thought they were on something different than the beat guys.
ETA: Just from what I remember from that Deadspin article, I thought it mentioned a different system for the big timers

Yeah, we don't get anything different for number of views or clicks.
Since that Deadspin article, they've gone away from that format, even for the low-level bloggers who do the basic SEO stuff.

Yeah I cover mostly high school recruiting

I just thought of another category that I humbly suggest for consideration: Most Unlikeable Player (different from Most Disappointing Player as Most Unlikeable Player can also be very good). If approved, my nominees are Diego Costa, Luis Suarez, Pepe, and the Colombian that stood up after going out of bounds, walked onto the pitch, and fell down feigning injury against the USMNT.
I would also suggest Most Sexy Player but there would be just too many nominees.
