Strikers usually translate to the top flight pretty smoothly. Bamford and Watkins last season, Vardy a few years back, all the way back to the likes of Kevin Phillips, Marcus Stewart and Andy Johnson.

Sure. Although I do not understand what that means. if I choose him as a forward. Does that mean if the team plays him at midfield I cannot put him as my forward?

No, you just have to field a lineup with at least 3 defenders, 3 midfielders, and 1 forward. (3-4-3) (4-3-3) (5-3-2). Whatever position they're assigned by the FPL website is where you line them up in you XI.

First off, download the FPL app. It'll probably make this a tad easier to understand.
The FPL app categorizes every player as a GK, Defender, Midfielder, or Forward.
Each position earns a different amount of points for certain things (goals, assists, clean sheets, etc.)
You can only play the players in the position that the FPL has put them in. I'm reality, it doesn't matter if Traore is playing as a forward in an actual match. He'll still earn points as a midfielder for you.

Players have a predetermined position according to the fantasy website. It just means Traore qualifies as a Midfielder and can only play in that position.

Geez that app sure does ask for a lot of personal info. Why do they care what state I’m in. I filled it out as a 40 year old Sir Winston with N Korea as his country. And followed every team because I’m sure it will change again this year.
