did you see the ball hit the Uraguay player on the way into the box putting him offsides?

Knowing Domenech, South Africa could put five past France and make it into the knockout round.

Depends on how many France can get past South Africa's backup goaltender.

I thought I was the only one that saw that, but couldn't tell for sure as they only showed one replay. Was he definitely off?

is it wrong to take joy in South Africa getting blown out - because of the vuvuzela noise makers?

Oh well, I'll have to live with it if so

There is a way South Africa could still advance.

Let's say France and Mexico tie - say 1-1. They would each have two points, while Uruguay has 4 and SA has 1.

Then in the 3rd games, let's say Uruguay beats Mexico, giving them 7 points, while Mexico finishes with two.

In that scenario, South Africa would advance if they beat France. A tie would advance France, however.

Suarez has left a sour impression on me during this game

Add him to my list of hated players. Big shocker they are almost all Latin, do Latin people have any pride or sportingness about them at all?

the schtick is just really played out. i enjoy jokes..but the same schtick over and over gets old. mikey is guilty of this as well. i can handle it in doses but its constant from you two. just saying.

I went back and watched both replays frame by frame and can't really tell if it actually hits the player. I don see it change directions. Maybe it does but I don't see it.

And if it Does hit him I am currently looking at the frame just before "contact and the defender is even with him. I can't get the dvr to stop right at contact.

You do have an argument though.

I'm 99% sure it hit him I just couldn't tell if Suarez was offside when it did.

I might just be seeing it the way I "want" to see it. Either way it was all so quick I can't blame the ref for missing it if he did.

It's just really unfortunate and I feel terrible for the keeper. To be fair though South Africa didn't look like they had a prayer at scoring anyways.

Hey guys - just wondering why we haven't been updating the score in the subject line for these matches...

It's probably Germans, but IDGAF.
