One of the best two players in the world (albeit @ 75%) against a very poor defense. No reason to think they couldn't at least draw.

I'm done worrying about it. This is America. Get your GD hopes up and sack up. All America wants is a chance to control their own fate. That is what we have. We sure didn't back down from the Germans in WWI or WWII. Why do it now. We don't need everyone to believe in us. We believe in each other. And that is what's going to carry us tomorrow. Time to shock the world and let the rest of the world know that we aren't the doormat anymore. We are America have a nice taste of FREEDOM bitch boys!!!!!!!

Hey!
Before the cup started, someone posted a hype video that had footage from the USA/Panama qualifying match in Seattle.
It showed the AO section and the NOLA flag and someone asked if that was a poster here.
Was I right in telling them it was you?
I was pretty certain it was you and when I saw you had posted, I wanted to make sure I wasn't telling tales.

That was me all right. Plan on bringing it to every match I go to from now on.
Such a fun trip.

Awesome! I thought I was right but then I second guessed myself.
How much do you wish you were in Brazil right now?
I would LOVE to be down there!

Pepe believes:
Their back 4 was not bad the other night and will be stronger with him in it.
My prediction: Portugal scores in the first 30 minutes through Ronaldo. Portugal scores again early in the 2nd half. They open it up trying for a big win, Gyan kills them on the counter. 2-1 Portugal FT.

Speaking at a pre-game news conference in Brasilia, the Real Madrid centre-back said: "I believe in miracles.
"It is possible. We know that it is difficult, but we have to fight for it. That is Portugal's signature -- to fight until the end with the weapons we have. There is hope, and we will try and latch onto that to be able to go through."

I accept these terms

Easy - Ghana has kicked 2 of their best players off the team for "insubordination". Portugal wins 3-1.

Eh heh... Portugal has looked terrible this tournament. I agree they can win, but it won't be "easy" by any stretch, IMO.

I could fap to this

My best reason is that if you watched what Suarez did when he played against England, who is a talented team at the least, then you know what CR7 could potentially do to anyone

KPB and Muntari have both been kicked out of the Ghana squad. Portugals chances just sky rocketed.
Ian Wright said it best when in saying that "If you are having issues with, pay and players not wanting to play because of bonuses, you need to blow it all up and start again".
African players embarrass themselves every tournament with these threatened strikes etc. Muntari psychically attacking an official is just another on the long line of incidences.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I just put a $2 parlay bet on the US, Portugal and Algeria to win today...$2 to win $90. Not a bad investment of a couple of bucks eh?
