Some positivity on a frustrating day

Because of how well we played in that first half, today definitely felt like 2 points lost instead of 1 point earned... but... The USMNT has never failed to advance out of the group after getting at least a point in their first match.

Also, models still have us favored to advance over Wales.

This shite ain't over.

It’s really all down to if Iran show up in the wales game or if the 6 goals broke their spirit. If they show up they have every chance to come away with points. If they lay down it all comes down to GD

If I’ve learned anything with World Cup groups, it is to not assume the logical progression of “what needs to happen” to advance.

US might beat England and then lose or draw with Iran. Basically any scenario is alive and well.
