Copa Mundial

this is a 'latinization'. It's Copa Del Mundo in God's Spanish. Latinization is catching on, what with the laziness of the world and all.

You can also call the tournament, el Mundial.

Ah, I see. Kind of like casual Spanish? I know Spanish is different in almost every country. (All three Spanish courses I've ever taken were taught by Colombian women. But the other teacher at my high school that taught Spanish was a missionary in Spain once upon a time. We learned differently from his class.)

This is from the Spanish Wikipedia:

quote:

Who cares about other languages. English is the language of the world. Let's make everyone else adapt. You know how much money you can make in Korea illegally private tutoring? And all the women you want.

Maybe as a semifinal contender, but I don't see much of a chance for them to go all the way. There are a few teams that are just flat out better, and the fact is Mexico has never even made the quarterfinals when they weren't hosting. As far as actually contending, I'll believe it when I see it.

Brazil or Argentina are my picks. If Argentina could get some kind of defense going they would be sick. Look at their offense, Aguero, Di Maria, Lavezzi, Tevez, Messi. Ridiculous
