No way are you being serious right now. These are by far our two toughest games left.

Honestly wasn't trolling. I really just don't like him. I think he is lazy. Hasn't shown much of anything the past year or so with the national team. Might be a good club player, but hasn't shown me much as of late with the national team.

You should consider dying, perhaps in a fire.

Perhaps you should get your head out of your arse and watch him during a match. Laziest thing I've ever seen. Seriously you people call yourselves fans and thing Jones is one of our best players? Unbelievable. It's obvious he doesn't care about playing for the national team.

Give me a specific example of this.

I don't think you understand his role on the pitch.

Dude, you are a terrible, and I stress terrible, troll. Trying way way too hard.
Clean yourself up, get a new alter and come back, better luck next time. Thanks for playing, drive home safely. Run along now.

Again, not trolling. Learn to read. Just being honest. I do not care for Jermaine Jones and personally think he doesn't deserve to start/play.

Why?

and don't just give an unfounded arbitrary reason like "he's lazy", I want a specific reason because you clearly hate the guy.

He consistently gives the ball away in the middle, his presence in the middle and what he tries to do takes away from Michael Bradley doing what he needs to do, his careless challenges put us in positions to give away free kicks, yellows, etc. You are right. I do not like him. That's just my opinion though. I'm not trying to have a whole argument about it. When we play Costa Rica and Mexico, let's just intently watch him and analyze his play, then we can discuss it. I would like to understand the point of view of the people that think he is really good for us.

Maybe I don't and maybe this is a learning opportunity for me. That's why I am here. Can you elaborate on what "his role" is supposed to be?

Sorry for having an honest opinion that you disagree with. Guess that makes me a "troll." Run along now.

No he doesn't.

Nice way of saying something without actually saying something.

Compare his yellow card rate to anyone else on the team. This is a stupid myth that needs to die.

I do not like him.

Clearly

That's just my opinion though.

Well, the foundations for your opinion suck.

...ok

You mean the people that actually watch the games and/or don't have unabashed hatred for a random player?

No point in discussing then if you can't be open to an opposing opinion. I said I would like to hear what you think "his role" is instead of you simply refuting everything I say.

Personally, I think Jones plays poorly for our national team and in no way should be considered an automatic starter. However I don't think he's lazy or doesn't care about playing for our team.

Agreed

I guess for me, seeing him play so well with his club and then playing poorly for us comes across as laziness.

But you aren't saying anything you are throwing at these random generalizations, but have yet to give a specific example.

You have yet to tell me why you disagree with my opinion and elaborate on his role on the field.

If anything, he may be trying too hard. Trying to make a tougher pass than he has to, taking a shot he has no business taking, going too hard into tackles and drawing cards, etc.
