I'm pretty sure that's the reason he bites players. He bites them so they freak out and the ref just sees the person retaliating and punishes the guy who got bit cause he doesn't know what's going on.
Obviously it hasn't worked yet but maybe he thought third time's a charm. Or maybe he's just about the craziest frick to ever play a professional sport.

I only caught the 2nd half during my lunch break. At least it was somewhat entertaining with all of the controversy. Of course, I'd rather see a fair, well played game but I guess too much was on the line and emotions ran wild in this one.
