And yes you guys were under FFP investigation for the previous two season and yes you are one of the richest clubs in the world. Being a rich club doesn't keep you from FFP rules.

Its been too long since we've had a bantz off. Sunday absolutely should not hurry up. I'm relishing the fact that we haven't yet lost by 3 goals.

Yeah they've been bailed out by the fact that their strikers are ridiculously clinical. They get two chances, none generated by their own play, and they absolutely bury them. As much as we'd like to use that as an excuse, its the difference between a good team and a poor team. If you gift United chances, even when they aren't playing well and are injury ridden, they will make you pay.

I definitely wasn't giving up that hope. Remember, we won the league by 10 points the year before Liverpool finished second. We had the wrong manager but a good foundation of players. We were expecting a new boss and had money to spend in summer. It wasn't like Liverpool was some sort of unstoppable juggernaut.
When we were routinely winning the league, it never stopped Liverpool fans from thinking they would finish above us the next year. Then, Liverpool finishes above us in the league once in 20+ years, and it's assumed we should give up all hope of even being "competitive" with the scousers this year

I don't get it. Joe is a pretty good holding midfielder and one of the only bright spots for us this year.
