4th I thought, and I guess I'm just comparing them to Chelsea which probably isn't fair to PSG.

I'm not complaining about your policies. Just pointing out how idiotic they are. You could reinvest in the club and build something. Instead you just throw your money at everything that moves.

I don't want that to stop. Because as long as clubs like City spend like they are they'll hold themselves down and open the window for fiscally intelligent clubs like Southampton to earn a spot. City will never dominate this league because they run the club like a 15 year old in football manager instead of someone versed in economics and finance.

Actually no, plastics only show up when times are good or for the big games bc they are new fans.

City and PSG has tons of those.

See: Lucas, Marquinhos, Verratti and to a lesser extent Rabbiot.

And what "hard times" have ManU gone through since you've been a fan?

3-4 players? Wow what an extensive investment into your club's infrastructure.

Exactly, the revolving door of players esp on the bench to create depth or move into the first team will prevent them from ever establishing them as a force. If you spend that much money your first team should have some new faces in this four year time frame.

Yet the players bought do not make it in and its a waste of money creating a problem on their bench. This separates the legit teams from the pretenders.

They are redoing the Parc De Prince as we speak (to the extent allowable by the city/fact that an interstate runs right under the stadium). They have opened new academies all over the world. City are expanding the stadium, opening satellite clubs, just built the finest youth facilities in the world.

I don't know what else you want. This isn't fifa where you can just buy a couple of 5 star scouts and start pumping out amazing youth players immediately

Every single expenditure by City has been to circumvent FFP. Building seats you will never fill? Brilliant. They don't even fill the stadium as it is now. Facilities are only a tiny cog in the academy wheel. I'd prefer to see greater investment in scouting networks and coaching. Why haven't they done that? Because it doesn't help nearly enough to get around FFP. And what's the point of a satellite club when you spend as frivolously with that club as you do with your own?

Again, it's more amusing than aggravating to me. Especially because fans of teams like this think they are "upsetting the status quo," when in reality they're perpetuating the status quo by holding themselves down. Keep it up. Please. I mean that.

The question I have about City is will FFP limit their ability to rebuild? A lot of the pieces they bought are players now approaching the end of their prime. They don't have parts they can sell to recoup the money they spent.

So bash them for not investing in their infrastructure, then when they do you bash them for only doing it to circumvent a rule brilliant.

Why should any of them care about what you'd prefer?

Yes I'm sure you'll be amused if Liverpool finish 5th and miss out on the CL because of City being there

Hopefully FFP will be overturned by the courts by then, but that's another discussion.
