I really don't trust this guy anymore.

And should we change captains?

I agree.

We should start Clarence Goodson when we play Canada.

As soon as we have better options. Probably too soon to give up on him completely.

He just looks slow. And I think Goodson is a good option. We need another bad arse playing next to Bocanegra.

Onyewu is Ricardo Clarke. He makes mistakes, and too many times these mistakes lead to goal-scoring opportunities, and too many times these goal-scoring opportunities lead to goals. Just because he's big and ____ does not mean he's better.

It might, actually.

This couldn't be a less informed opinion.

You love Ricardo Clark.

Clark's best moments:

His last call up.

World Cup Qualifying Rocket.

Take that Carlos Ruiz.

Nah, but I think he catches a lot of grief for the England goal (Gerrard ran right past 2/3rds of the team on that run.... don't know how Clark gets ALL of the blame), and (probably rightfully) for the Ghana game.

That said, Clark is a more physical (but older) version of Maurice Edu, and a slower (and poorer passing) version of Jermaine Jones.

He's serviceable (at best), but if I had to chose between he and Beckerman in a game that mattered, I'd take Ricardo.

Either way, the assertion that Onyewu = Clark because he's "big and black" might be the dumbest thing I've read here. It must really suck to go through life looking at things that way.

Carlos Ruiz deserved it. If we are somehow up 6-0 on Guatemala in the upcoming qualifier, we should bring out Ricardo just so he can kick the shite out of Ruiz again.

He has always been a douche. Pretty funny that even the Philly Union fans hated him being signed/playing for them.

If I had to choose between Edu and Ricardo I'd take Ricardo.

The best option is a healthy Stuart Holden/Michael Bradley tandem with Dempsey playing underneath Jozy.
