Because they want to increase Disney's share price, not just give away content

Again, I dont work for or own shares in Disney so I really dont care from a consumer standpoint.

Yes, I get that. The mls is partly to blame as well. To grow the league people actually have to see it.

I'll say this, though, if they want to increase viewership on their regular channels, I think many more people (myself included) would be much more inclined to watch a live soccer match than more of those stupid "debate shows" with pompous assholes.

Screw the mls for making that deal.
ESPN+ has replaced MLS Live, and it's even CHEAPER than MLS Live.

sure I can watch crsppy usl on espn2
No, you can't. You've never been able to. There's been a total of 1 USL game on ESPN2 this year.

Sucks, but They have to put some semi legit things on it to get subscribers. Mac games only isn't going to cut it.

Yes, they have. There's been a few games a month on ESPN3 and the rest are on ESPN+.

Then that's on you, because MLS matches are regularly on ESPN and FS1/2.

Theres only 31 games on espn/espn2. Thats not very many. And you have to have foxsports to get fs1/fs2 so I wouldnt really include those games.

Thats not a lot of games when you look ar the whole season.

Who cares Asensio just scored.

It's still at least 3 games a week on TV that you can get fairly easily.

I'll probably subscribe to ESPN+ after this. Yeah, it sucks having to pay for things, but it beats the shite out of some of the soccer streaming services of the past...and present, I guess. Checked the price on Fox's paid streaming service, and they're still charging $20/month

If you are having trouble watching games on ESPN, then you should see an eye doctor.
