I guess they think they are still relevant in the soccer world. When was the last time they qualified for the World Cup or Europe? I know going through UEFA is though but some of the small Eastern European countries find a way.

Scots have a passion for the game that is unmatched anywhere, IMHO. Even if the talent isn't there at the international level, they'll always be relevant in that sense.

The one person who could save Scottish football is that scum bastard Fergie but he is too busy cavorting with the sassanach to give a shite. The SFA is a complete and utter disaster and needs an overhaul which will hopefully come soon. That being said I can't wait to hear my Tartan Army friends relate their impressions of what transpired in J-ville. For adults only I would imagine.
