Doesn't really matter to me, as long as you don't wear it when the USA plays.

I will probably wear a CR7 Real Madrid jersey under my USA jersey because we need to Portugal to draw or win within reason.

Meh. I collect jerseys cuz quite frankly they are fricking awesome and comfortable! They're all I wear ever.

I have:

Per Mertesacker #17 white World Cup Jersey
Away Germany World Cup
Orange Holland World Cup
Getting the Blue one in a few weeks
2013 Holland white jersey customized #10 Dennis Bergkamp
Honduras home and away World Cup (My homeland)
Honduras 2013 WC qualifying blue jersey
England 2013 red Nike debut jersey
France 2012 home
France 2013 home

I just love soccer jerseys. I'm going to buy like 5 more once they go on sale later this year. I refuse to buy Mexico, Spain, Brazil, and Italy. frick those countries. I love the USMNT and the Honduran National Team, England, Netherlands, and Germany. Doesn't hurt that these countries have bomb arse kits.

Unless they are game worn or signed what's the point in this?

Reasons to own another country's jersey
1. Citizen/resident of that country
2. Family/Ancestry
3. Study abroad/travel there
4. Favorite club player
5. Fashion
6. They're playing against Mexico

I have an 2014 Italy Balotelli jersey because of heritage/it's Balotelli

I also have a Belgium t-shirt because I am currently studying abroad here. Would have gotten a jersey but they cost too much for an inferior look IMO. Also, I've been around the Netherlands while I've been here and it's been terribly hard to not give in and buy an Oranje kit because they are so fresh looking and I am a fan of their team, but I did settle on a t-shirt instead.

Those are my 2-3-4 preferences when it comes to cheering and winning the world cup. obviously first. If we advance, it's going to suck having to root against Belgium while I am here.

I'm going to the game in Rio on Saturday, and will likely wear a Colombian shirt/jersey because some of my best friends down here are Colombian and have extras. I figured I won't be supporting the USA in that game no matter what, so may as well try and fit in, even if i don't speak spanish and look white as all hell

I own a Germany jersey. German heritage. I will not wear it until USA is out. If Germany puts us out on Thursday I may burn it.

Purchased 10 Ghana shirts right before the Cup.

I love their smooth texture as I wipe my arse with them.

I haven't ever really thought about it, but people will randomly wear soccer jerseys just to wear them. They don't even register as a statement of any kind unless I know something is going on.

I usually don't wear jerseys. I'll wear shirts.

And, I'll cheer for Argentina over the US.
