I'm glad you started the thread because I got to read some insight from Arsenal fans that watched the team back then. I only started in the fall of 2010. Crazy's explanation was a great one because I was starting to think it was just me that started this downward trend for Arsenal.
Maybe I am naive, but City may have done Arsenal fans a favor this week. Kroenke only cares about money. If they keep Wenger for the remainder of his contract, it will cost Arsenal money because people won't renew their tickets. The utter destruction that City laid down on Arsenal will probably keep the stands mostly empty for the remainder of the year. Milan can really drive the nail in the coffin by taking away any chance at a trophy/UCL next season.
