Barca looking vulnerable. Still thinks it's going to really tough without Veratti. Of it were just Ibra I think we could withstand that.

I watched them against Sevilla today.
Sevilla's a very good team and there were some spells of Barca really slicing through them (mainly Neymar and Messi).
However, Sevilla likely did create more good chances
and mainly due to Barca being very sloppy in possession. I think I may have seen them play complete seasons in the past with less inaccurate passes into risky areas and poor touches.
I think PSG has a chance but the problem, as always, is Messi (and seemingly now Neymar as well) pulling out 2 or 3 extra goals over two legs regardless of anything else.

Agreed that Verratti is a bigger loss than Ibra. The key will be how Cabaye holds up imo (assuming he's the natural replacement). Matuidi is a beast and I trust Rabiot, but if Cabaye can't step it up, I'll be worried.
The 1st leg at home is huge. Defense should still be solid. Cavani and Lavezzi looked on form today. And PSG has already beaten Barca at the Parc this season.
As long as it's tight heading back to Spain, I'll feel alright.

It's so tough to say since Roma has recovered from the long run of draws to win 2 in a row but hasn't exactly played sparkling football in either match, aside from Manolas and Astori.
Toro also has exactly the pieces to create problems considering Roma's injuries/suspensions at FB with Peres and Darmian (both of whom I wish Roma would buy this summer, especially if Destro would accept the move to Torino).
Kind of a concern that those 2 will at least earn a ton of counters and ironically the high goal man for either side is Toro's CB Glik who's been money on corners all season.
Also worried that De Rossi is still hampered by a micro-fractured back bone and the only option if he has to come out is going balls out with no defensive mid.
I expect it go kind of like the Napoli match which means 50/50 with both getting their fare share of chances.

I'm one of the biggest fans of Ibra's game that there is and missing him is certainly a blow. However, as the Sevilla match showed today, there's also an advantage to having Cavani pressing and running tirelessly on the counter like Carlos Bacca was doing up top today.
At least, PSG will have Ibra back for the return right? I would guess that with this current Barca, PSG will need to score a couple of away goals to get through even with a good home result.

Yup. And Luiz, Matuidi and Verratti scored in that match IIRC.
PSG can score goals without the goal scorers.

yes although the way it's going, he may only be eligible for CL games the rest of the season.

This Barca side is really different than they were with Pep/Xavi. I do think PSG has the quality to beat them even if I'd say Barca are favorites.
Just my quick take from watching them a few times but, against better sides, they seem to open the game up a lot more without Xavi and with Neymar and Suarez being a bit more like Messi in terms of going for killer passes over recycling possession. They seem more likely to score in numbers but also have to defend a lot more risky counters.
I don't really expect PSG to park the bus either.
With that being said, it'll probably go to penalties after 210 minutes of 0-0.

It's a pretty tough 6 day stretch for Barca, too. Valencia (who can pull within a point of Atletico Monday) at Barca is sandwiched by those two games. They can't really afford to drop points there, because they have a pretty difficult run in and Real Madrid holds the tiebreaker.

No doubt, this Barca team is different, but I actually think this PSG team is more capable than that Chelsea team that won the CL, and like you said, I don't think PSG will park the bus either.

Its crazy how many ppl are forgetting arguably the most important absence after Verratti and in-form Ibra.. Serge Aurier. Suspended three/four games in the CL iirc, I would have loved to see him out there at RB instead of VdW, who blowsssss. Rather have seen Marq at RB, but no DL. O well, my lineup:
