To some people being home might be more important. Everyone is different

Why is this so hard to comprehend?
that the better our players get the more the Euro clubs will pay them

If the American players keep improving esp on the technical side to the point we dont have to cap ever guy playing in europe. Those euro clubs will shell out even more money and the MLS wont be able to compete.
How can you predict this?
What if the MLS player get so good that we start winning the Concacaf champions league consistently, attendance continue to improve, TV rating improve and the next TV contract goes up to the point that we can compete with Europe? We are by far the richest TV market in the world.

You ask most people who live and die football. They want to be living in the football culture.

I would argue that they want to be rich playing soccer.

Then the MLS is not where they want to be.

Tell me this everyone. In 10-15 years, do you want a majority of USMNTers to be playing in NA or Europe?

I just want them playing in the best possible league. If that's the MLS, then so be it.

It's only a matter of time until soccer takes over.

You are clearly out of touch on the dynamics of the European game.

Europe. Bigger clubs, bigger stadiums, more passionate fans(sorry MLS will never be on the level here for various reasons) and if our players improve more money.

Can you please see the forest from the trees? I was just point out success consistenly against mexican teams in a real competition would be one of SEVERAL factors that would increae future TV contract amounts which would would allow MLS to compete for more expensive players!

Can't really answer that question until I know the quality of the leagues. I think it's beneficial for a country to have a strong league so hopefully the MLS is good.
