Third-division football beckons. They are 10 minutes from losing at home and falling down to the Dritte after the playoff.

Match interrupted as fans tried to invade the pitch. Apparently their agreement with Bayern to share the Allianz means they can't play there in the 3. Liga.

It's hard to imagine that once upon a time, 1860 was the big team in Munich.

Their old stadium where 1860 II plays is pretty awesome. Speaking of 1860 II. They can't get promoted to the 3 Liga now and actually are now getting relegated from their regional league despite finish 2nd.

Sucks seeing our brother club go down the last professional league in Germany.

Didn't even think about the B side having to drop to be two leagues below. That fricking sucks. By all accounts, 1860 didn't even put forth an effort in the game and got run off the park in front of 62,000 people.

Gotta admit I only focus on the top of 2. BuLi and didn't even notice they had dropped that far down the table.

Having a rival in the same city that just won the Bundesliga probably helps with that. Those fans probably hate Bayern more than they love TSV 1860. Hard to get apathetic when you're fueled by hate.

nah bro you need to watch some docs on 1860, some of the most loyal fans in Germany.

and ask any real Bayern fan who their most hated rival is and its 1860.

The owner apparently refused to pay the licensing fee and the team looks like it won't even play in the 3rd division now. What a mess.

1860 Munich will no longer play in the professional leagues and their entire existence is in doubt after majority shareholder Hasan Ismaik refused to pay the licensing fees required for them to play in the third division. The debacle comes at the end of an embarrassing week for the formerly great club that won the Bundesliga in 1966.

This fricker is such a POS

he owns like 70% of the club but only has 49% of the voting rights.
