Well he was right about that. Tottenham spent really poorly. Overpaid for Lamela, Soldado, and Paulinho. I suppose 2 out of 7 isn't bad for a 100 mil windfall.
Not to say 'Pool spent well. Lallana is a passenger, Lovren sucks, Balotelli was awful, Can is mistake prone, and Lambert was a pointless signing.

He was still right. Spending 100 mil should mean you should be able to at least challenge for the title. In both cases.

BR was still right about Tottenham. Just because he failed in the market the same as Levy doesn't mean Rodgers was suddenly wrong. Spending 100 mil in the market should at least ensure more success.

Borini played fantastic yesterday,just barely off target twice. Was very good going forward. C'mon Klopp, you know you love a challenge... Choose us over LFC!

TBF, I think Rodgers is still a good manager that believed his own hype after 13/14... I'm sure it will only help him learn and get better..
Im not saying Sunderland should hire him, but they could do a lot worse..

I'd take him for sure. For what it's worth our next manager is 4th favorite to be sacked next on some betting lines despite not being named.
