Have we ever had a good national team player of Hispanic descent? They all seem to suck for us. Jesus ferraira cost us the tournament today

Also I think we have the talent. Play a fricking false nine Gregg you fricking stubborn a-hole. Stop shoehorning shite players into the team just to “have a nine.” When they can barely kick the ball

Does he have a route to regular minutes with Tottenham in the next couple of years?

He's been a nailed on starter for Celtic for a couple of years now fyi.

Spurs finally let him leave permanently.

Need a striker and center backs.

Striker I have no idea
Center backs would be CCV/Myles Rob/Chris Richards.

Ream will be to old or retired.
Zimmerman will be available, but probably only a depth addition if he even makes the team.

Can long come back, get healthy, move to a bigger club in 4 years?

Claudio Reyna, Marcelo Balboa, and Tab Ramos are some of the best to ever put on the jersey. Also Carlos Bocanegra, Hugo Perez, Alejandro Bedoya, Pablo Mastroeni…

Three defensive lapses cost us the tournament.

Forgetting your mark at the back post is “the basics” type shite.

Spain

Won their first World Cup 12 years ago. Can be bludgeoned to death by hyper athletic sides because they can’t run with them. Tiki Taka is a joy to watch. They aren’t some historically dominant side though.

Ream just said in an interview he could see himself playing another four years.

Thiago Silva and Pepe are starting for their national teams at 38-39. Striker we need to spend the next 3.5 years learning how to play with Reyna/pulisic as a false nine. You can’t not have Reyna playing so fricking wright or ferraira can play

What is this madness? Ferreira was invisible and impotent, but we had failures defensively that he had nothing to do with.

Miles Robinson was our best CB before his Achilles.

Balboa and Reyna were Argentinian and Ramos was Uruguayan. Bedoya and Bocanegra both born in the US. Bedoya is Colombian. Not what that post was referring to, but nice try.

Yes defense also cost us. Ferraira said was a black hole when we’re dominant early, and also had the heinous give away touch for the second goal. Off the throw in. It’s easily 1-1 at half if we start Reyna over ferraira.

That trash league produced trash players like Chris Richards, Weston McKennie, Tyler Adams, Brenden Aaronson, Tim Ream, Miles Robinson, Matt Turner, Ricardo Pepi, Daryl Dike, Clint Dempsey, Landon Donovan…. Scally and Reyna both came through the NYCFC academy. Without MLS we would be fricked, but you would have to be paying attention to know that.

Hey, numbskull: Hispanic doesn't mean "Mexican". ALL of those countries are "Hispanic". Either learn to use words correctly, or just stop using words altogether.

All of those guys left at age like 18. It’s fine for a borderline Academy league.

The issue is our managers and fans think it’s ok to actually base roster selections and starters on mls performance.

Like fricking ferraira scores against Nashville fc so he should start against the Netherlands. Or make the roster. Utter absurdity

I was responding to a post from the guy about illegals coming across the order. I must’ve missed all the discourse about illegal Argentinian and Uruguayan immigrants?

No offense to Ream. If he is on the team in 4 years we're screwed.
