Brazil, Argentina, and Colombia typically bring huge numbers of away fans, but that's to the different copa America sites, not all the way in the US.

It's the "home" fans of those countries that will make the turnouts so large.

There's a lot of immigrants from those countries (especially Brazil) living in the NY/NJ area (Florida too I believe) and they tend to turn out in big numbers for their NTs.

They have to even stage a friendlies involving Brazil in the 80k seat Meadowlands.

The whole tickets with this tournament was fricked from the start with not selling single match tickets. Then when no one would buy them that changed. The games are in massive NFL stadiums with the cheapest seat costing what a good seat would at the Euros in smaller stadiums and tickets are in higher demand

Good ol American capitalism brah. It's supply and demand. Hispanics don't mind shelling out hundreds of bucks to see their home team play in the states. If the cup organizers can fill an NFL stadium with exorbitantly priced tickets, I'm sure they see that as a win.

Yea but they are not selling out so.......

In these events even the WC you need to bank on locals attending some matches as well even if their country isn't playing and well how many of us are going drop a months rent to see two teams we don't care about.

Its funny now b/c people who where tricked into the packages are trying to offload those matches on the secondary market cheaper than what ticketmaster wants for them.
