Michael Bradley completed 78 of 90 passes (86.7 percent) in the match, the most passes completed and attempted by a player in 13 matches under coach Jurgen Klinsmann. Bradley has led the team in passing for three straight matches, compiling an 87.0 percent completion rate over that span.

Also, to note guys.
Castillo wasn't even on the bench when Fab went down. One of the assistant managers had to go get him out of the stands, to tell him to get changed and get ready.

As paid soccer writers have noted, Castillo didn't play that badly outside of a few bad decisions.
To me he's just not good enough for the team to put up with his poor decisions. He may make mistakes like David Luiz (as someone said), but his upside isn't anywhere close.

I don't care what people have said. We are in a bad jam if he is our #1 there. Which thankfully he isn't.
His lil mistakes almost cost us a game we haven't lost in 25+ years. He lost possession a lot, he costed us a goal, he just didn't have it together.

He was part of the reason we were shite on offense.
We didn't get enough width on either side, especially after donovan left. Torres wanted to play in the middle of the park on the left, and castillo made only one or two outside runs the whole night. He made as many to the inside of torres, which is was exceptionally stupid, considering how tight Canada was in the middle. It was a clusterfrick because we had three wide players who refused to go wide in torres, castillo, and Chreundolo (who just didn't go forward at all)
Castillo should never make a 23 as long as we have guys like Brek Shea and Bobby Convey in the pool. Fabian is our guy, and Brek and Bobby are considerably better options (even when off form) than Castillo.
Dolo won't make it another year, He's half the player he was in South Africa. Hopefully Timmy Chandler will replace him. Maybe Jurgen will discover that Eric Lichaj is indeed American. I dunno.

Does anyone have Edu's completion percentage. I'm going to guess it hovers somewhere between 6 and 12%.
Also, any updates on Fab Johnson?

I'm a little late to this thread, but skimmed through the majority of it. I found Klinsmann's comments including Beckerman and Cameron as locks interesting. Could they be locks because they're still in the MLS? Looking back at a good number of camp and roster selections, it looks like there is always at least 20% MLS players. The only exception I see is the Brazil game. I'm not one to think that someone playing in Europe is automatically better than someone playing in the MLS, but there does seem to be a pattern here.
