I root for my rivals to lose if there is a direct correlation to my team's success. Otherwise, I just appreciate those who can play the sport well.

No I have never watched a bama, Man U, Barca, Arsenal, Spurs etc... game and had a good time when they won. Unless their victory had a direct impact on the fortunes of my team.

Only if the other team wins. I do not enjoy watching any of those teams play. I enjoy watching them lose. There's a huge difference.

So why not just check the scores if the win/loss is all you care about?

This is obvious to me, but the others on the board can't seem to have enjoyment based purely on a good game, it's tied entirely to the outcome.

I can enjoy watching any team play as long as they aren't my rival or play the game in a shitty way.

Because I enjoy WATCHING them lose. To watch them lose, I have to WATCH the game.

You seem like that "make sure everyone gets a ribbon" guy. No competitiveness in you at all.

What does everyone think about Onyewu going to Malaga? Is it a better fit than Sporting?
